The Best Pie Recipes for Pi Day (Or Any Day!) (1)

Next week is Pi Day!

As a scientist who also dedicated a yearlong series to pies throughout 2018, you knew there was no way I was going to miss up an opportunity to celebrate, right?

Right.

I love pie. You (presumably) love pie. I mean, who doesn’t love pie? So here’s a round up of a whole bunch of delicious pie recipes, just waiting for your Pi(e) Day celebration!

Because there are so many different types of pie, I’ve divided these lists up into categories: fruit pies (my personal favorite), chocolate pies (my husband’s favorite – probably why there are so many of these on my site!), custard pies, no bake pies, savory pies, pie bars (not round, but we’ll still count them) and at the end, the most important step: pie crusts!

Seriously, there’s a pie foreveryone on this list. And if your favorite isn’t on here, or there’s a pie you had once and have been dying to replicate, let me know! I am always looking for more pie recipes to share.

I’m often asked about myfavoritepie recipes. These are all listed below as well, but just in case you’re curious about my tastes: these are my personal favorite pies:

  • Cranberry Curd Pie
  • Caramel Pear Pie with Oatmeal Cookie Crumble
  • Lemon Pie
  • Almond Crumble Blueberry Pie
  • S’mores Pie
  • Chocolate Shoofly Pie

Sweet or savory, baked or no baked, fruit or chocolate or custard, we have you covered. So get to it — Pi Day awaits!
