I got a call earlier today from electrical company @SCE that there are possible that they are gonna turn off the power tomorrow because of the Santa Ana winds that are going to take over they are possibly turning it off just as a safety precaution from preventing wildfires

@senoritav76 @SCE Our lesson said last year, lines were damaged because of wind and it was an emergency fix to prevent a wildfire. So same reasoning this year? Do they provide a discount if they have to shut off power? Last year, how long was the power out? The kids were curious.

Hey @SCE just got a phone call about yet another planned 8-hour power outage, this one on Dec. 10. That’s the FOURTH outage here this year. All with no explanation. Last one was a Saturday before Thanksgiving. Now a Saturday before Christmas. @latimes @abc7

@SCE Your service sucks ***. Not having a REAL person to speak to regarding issues customers have is a disgrace to your service. Anyone thinking about moving to socal should 2nd think it. Dealing with Edison just to have electricity turned on in your home is a pain in the ***.

@SCE Why are we scheduling power outages for electrical work during winter when it is 30° or lower all day long. My neighbors are suffering as they are elderly and cannot go to one of your facilities for warming since they don’t drive.
