How long does it take to pass an FTMO account? ›

The minimum time to complete an FTMO Challenge is 4 trading days.

We will be automatically alerted that you have passed your FTMO Challenge and we will proceed to evaluate your trading results accordingly. After approximately 1-2 business days, we will then send you the new account login credentials for the Verification stage.

There is estimated to be a 90% fail rate of traders that take the FTMO challenge. The reason behind this is due to traders chasing the profit target with a time restriction in place. A trader doesnt know when a winning streak might occur, or when they may take a string of drawdowns.

However, passing this challenge can be difficult, especially if you are new to trading or have limited experience. Fortunately, there is a simple money management system that can help you pass the FTMO Challenge with just two trades. In this blog post, I will share this system with you and explain how it works.

It would be naive to assume that you can pass these challenges overnight. The reality is, for most profitable traders, this will still take between 4-5 months of trading. Once you've passed the trading challenge, you'll be funded!
